Deanne Mathews is the embodiment of 'dream big and make it happen,'
having started two businesses before she was 30, each one reflecting
her passions of the time.
In her native Vancouver, Canada, Deanne pursued her life-long
interests of physical fitness and personal and business development,
completing a Diploma in Fitness Leadership from Langara College
while playing high-level soccer, winning a scholarship from Trend
College and finishing a Diploma in Business Management & Marketing.
Deanne moved to Australia in 1993 and quickly established her
own thriving fitness and personal training business in Melbourne.
In addition to maintaining an extensive client list of individuals,
she developed and delivered fitness programs to the Eastern Regional
Mental Health Association of Victoria. During this time, Deanne
earned a Certificate IV Personal Training from Box Hill Tafe,
Melbourne.
In 2003, Deanne started another business, importing and distributing
an herbal weight loss aid, Zotrim, from the UK. As part of promoting
Zotrim and healthy living, she had a regular spot on radio in
Adelaide with naturopath and nutritionist Phil Sheldon as well
as having guest spots in Melbourne. Three years later, Deanne
sold the brand and distribution rights, so as to continue her
own exploration of personal and professional development.
Deanne began to study life, executive and business coaching at
The Coaching Institute (TCI) where she was offered a position
within the organization as Director of National Business
Development and Accountability Coach to the Franchise sector of
the institute. Deanne is an experienced life, executive and business
coach, NLP practitioner, and facilitator of group trainings. While
at TCI, Deanne awakened to another passion, public speaking, and
she has completed several professional development courses in
how to deliver inspired and motivating presentations.
Deanne now offers her wealth of life experience and her passionate
pursuit of meaning and accomplishment through self-inspiration
to others as a life, executive and business coach. Deanne is also committed to helping women move through deeper issues through her Woman to Woman Coaching Program.
Deanne is working on her first book dealing with the adversities
we face in life and strategies in how they can be overcome. It's
scheduled for publication in the near future.
